Fairfield is projected to issue up to $3.3M in automated speed-camera fines.

Fanal maps every approved school-zone enforcement corridor from public records, and it spells out exactly what the town published and what it left out. No fake precision, no surprises.

Do the cameras match the crash data?

We mapped more than 22,000 Fairfield crashes since 2017 against where the cameras actually went. Only a small share happen anywhere near them, and the town's worst crash corridors have no cameras at all. Read the full crash-data report →

Why approximate corridors?

The town's public plan describes enforcement by road and cross-street, not by GPS coordinate. We draw the corridors the record supports and mark them unverified until precise camera positions are published. Once they are, we promote them to verified points, the same data that will power the Fanal mobile alerts.
